At docks out last year, the worn out Whaler was sadly in need of repair. Members Sam and Cynthia Lawrence generously offered to take it home for a fix up. After six weeks of power spraying, scrubbing, sanding, painting and fixing, they transformed the Whaler nearly back to its original glory as you can see in the photos. The Whaler received many shocked & positive compliments from members when they set eyes on the miraculously transformed craft! Sam and Cynthia, on behalf of the board and all EYC members, we cannot thank you enough for your many hours of hard work that you put into resurrecting the Whaler. We all look forward to seeing you at the club as Social Members this sailing season.
