A: The Edmonton Yacht Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer community, committed to the sport of sailing and operating a clubhouse & docking facilities. Established in 1923, we organize social events and training for sailors and their families. Sometimes a race breaks out. 😂

A: We're located at Seba Beach, an hour west of Edmonton.
Q: Do I need sailing experience to join EYC?
A: You do, but if you don't have experience, check out our sailing school.
Q: What kind of boat do you need?
A: Our members have everything from 13-foot dinghies through 28-foot yachts. None of the boats are very fancy!

A: Yes, it's a practical requirement. We can guide you on buying a sailboat. We list some boats for sale.

Come visit. Between "docks in" in May and "docks out" in October, there are almost always members at our facilities in Seba Beach each weekend (address & map). And sailors love to talk boats!
