Since the Club was formed in 1923, it has become one of western
Canada's Premier Facilities. E.Y.C. membership has rostered many casual
sailors as well as those who have gone on to compete in Regattas around
the world. One such notable is Lawrence Lemieux. He started as a young
sailor at the Edmonton Yacht Club and has achieved worldwide
recognition for his many sailing achievements. Our members enjoy
diversity and exposure to many different levels of sailing activities...
